THE CRAFT
Silver clay is a pliable material made of fine silver particles, an organic binder, and water, which can be shaped like regular clay. After it's shaped, dried, and fired with a torch or kiln, the binder burns away, leaving a solid piece of real silver. It's popular for jewellery making because it allows for detailed designs that are difficult to create with traditional silversmithing tools.
The Workshop
A silver clay workshop with Daisy's 60 Minute Crafts will teach you how to handle silver clay, moving through each of the processes to transform the silver clay into a real silver pendant or earrings. This workshop is suitable for those that have never worked with silver clay and is taught to a group of no more than three so that you get all the support needed.
Note: Silver clay is real silver, not just silver coloured clay
